Meet the Girls LAX Coaches
Head Coach, Mia White played lacrosse in undergraduate at Fort Lewis College in Durango and played her graduate year at Pacific University in Forest Grove. She has played all positions except goalie, ending her career on attack. She loves lacrosse for its fast pace, finesse, and strategy.
We are inspired by Mia’s collaborative, positive, steadfast presence and approach to coaching.
Mia White / Head Coach
Assistant Coach, Naomi Bram grew up in the Great Area of Philadelphia. She went on to play lacrosse at the Division III level for three years during her undergraduate at Colorado College, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She then went up to the road to University of Colorado, Colorado Springs for her master’s in which she played two seasons for the Mountain Lions at the Division II level. Naomi competed as a defensive runner at both Colorado College and UCCS, and specialized as a rover/backer in a zone set defense. Currently, she is in the first year of her PhD at the University of Oregon and works as a Graduate Educator in the Human Physiology Department. Naomi loves coaching and previously coached 6th-8th grade girls in Philadephia.
Naomi Bram / Assistant Coach
Assistant Coach, Giuliana Portolesi is an assistant coach at the University of Oregon, working with the Ducks’ goalkeepers. She played Division I lacrosse at Queens University after a standout career at Onodaga Community College, where she earned All-American honors and helped lead the team to back-to-back national championship appearances. Portolesi also competed for Team Italy at the World Lacrosse Championships, bringing international experience to her coaching.

Assistant Coach, Dan Sanders has been in various head and assistant coach roles in the last 35 years, including wrestling, football, volleyball, and lacrosse. Dan has worked to consistently build lacrosse at the youth and high school levels in the North Eugene and Sheldon areas.
