Sheldon Lacrosse Coaches
Here at Sheldon we are very blessed to have an amazing coaching staff of highly experienced players and coaches. We all take great pride in this program and our young male athletes. Coaching is not just about making these boys better lacrosse players but making them become better members of society. We have some high hopes and expectations for this upcoming season and we look forward to seeing you.
Varsity Head Coach
Coach Sanderson started playing lacrosse in high school back in West Chester, PA. He played DIII lacrosse at Oberlin College. He started the team at Sheldon in 2001 with Ken Rodgers, now the head coach at Thurston High School. This will be Coach Sanderson 14th season coaching at Sheldon. Coach Sanderson is looking forward to coaching another great Varstiy squad this season.
Varsity Offensive Coordinator
Keaton Lovendahl is the offensive coordinator for the varsity program. He's been working with the team since 2010. After high school he attended the University of Oregon studying education and now teaches at Coburg Community Charter School. On his free time he also helps run the local men's club lacrosse team.
JV & V. Face Off Coach
Coach Strode has been coaching at Sheldon since 2006 and recently has started coaching his son's Kidsports teams. He normally coaches defense and face-offs. He went to Sheldon before they had lacrosse and was introduced to the game when he went to school in New York.
This is coach Graff's 15th season as a JV coach at Sheldon. Coach Graff played lacrosse at the University of Oregon in the mid 80's. He then played for over 12 seasons for the Eugene Lacrosse Club.Coach Graff's emphasis this season will be on Goalie training and defense.
